Window decoration for your door
When you think of window decoration, you often think of window coverings for your windows, but don't forget about your doors. Whether it's a front or back door, or beautiful French doors from the living room. You can give them more flair with beautiful window coverings. And doors combine well with different types of window coverings.
Window decoration for your door
A door with windows can look a bit dull, drafty and invite passers-by to look inside. You can easily solve that with window decoration. Whether your door is made of plastic, aluminium or wood. But you have to take into account the handle sticking out and the fact that a door opens and closes regularly. The solution we have for this is very handy; window decoration in a frame. And because you place the frame between the glazing bars of the window, the latch remains free. And also, the window decoration just stays in place when you open and close the door.
Pleated blinds
A pleated curtain guarantees a minimalist look for your door. A pleated blind is present but not very dominant. The top-down bottom-up operation allows you to choose the position of the pleated blind. This way, you can easily determine the level of light and privacy.
Roller blind
Always a good idea; a roller blind for your door window. Roller blinds are sleek and practical. Roll it up for maximum light, halfway up to limit the view or all the way down for maximum privacy.
Venetian blind
A Venetian blind for your door window lets in a lot of light. With blinds, you can easily control light by tilting the slats. But blinds do even more than that, of course. They are super stylish and create a nice atmosphere.
Shutter
A bit more robust, but just as attractive are shutters on your door. The slats are slightly wider than those of a Venetian blind and you can't pull shutters up. A shutter for your door window may not be the most obvious choice, but on larger doors or garden doors they can look great.
French doors
Maybe you already have them, or they are high on your list; French doors. They look beautiful and connect outside with inside. And as soon as the weather permits, you can open them both. French doors often consist mostly of glass, which can also give a bit of a chilly look without window coverings. You can of course choose to mount regular window coverings on the frame, but they will be in the way as soon as you open the door. And this is also not recommended in combination with plastic window frames. It is therefore more practical to opt for framed window coverings here as well. That way, you don't have to worry about flapping blinds, or damage caused by them.
