KeJe commences production of original insect screen doors in Serbia

KeJe takes an important step in the growth of its original Metaco screen doors: the screen doors will from now on be produced in Serbia. This international step will allow KeJe in the Netherlands to continue to focus on the further growth of screens and window decoration, while the production of the pleated screen doors in Serbia will get the attention it deserves.

Why produce screen doors yourself?

At KeJe, quality comes first. By keeping as many processes as possible in-house or in close cooperation, KeJe guarantees that our products meet the high standards customers are used to. This approach ensures optimal control, flexibility and speed in responding to market growth.

Establishment of SAC Assembly Company

The first screen doors are now rolling off the production line at SAC Assembly Company d.o.o. in Serbia. "After months of preparation and coordination, we are proud that the first screen doors have now rolled off the conveyor belt," says Kevin Dolman. SAC Assembly Company was established to further expand production capacity. With this step, KeJe strengthens its position in the market and ensures the high quality and innovation that customers have come to expect.

Has the screen door remained the same?

The original screen doors retain their familiar quality, with some improvements in the details: the mesh package is better concealed for a tighter look and feel. The slot is wider so a handle is no longer needed, and the screen doors are available in the day, on the day and in two-piece and three-piece sets.

With this move, KeJe continues to build on its vision: to continue delivering innovative, practical and high-quality solutions for mosquito nets and window coverings, while being ready for future market growth.
